layering material scans.

My favourite material scans were the polka dots and the roses. So I chose an image from shoot three to layer with them to see the affect it gives and whether it will be a good option for a final piece.





I found that they didn't actually work as well as I had hoped. Therefore, I don't think I will be using this technique for a final piece. But it was a good idea to experiment and see the different affects that can be used. I decided that the technique didn't work very well because the images seem too cloudy and not clear.

I then went on to try one of the other materials I had scanned:



This material gives the image a pale pink tint but giving it texture at the same time. I really like the affect that this gives! It makes it seem like the image was printed on a textured paper.
